We need an audience for our writing!

The children in Room 3 have written descriptions of the current New Zealand flag and the contender for the new flag (which we called The Maybe Flag).

Having an audience who reads the writing, gives the children an authentic purpose for their learning and helps them during the writing process.
  • Could someone easily read what I have written? (Handwriting/Spelling)
  • Does my writing make sense?
  • Have I used capital letters and fullstops to show where my sentences start and finish?
  • Have I used words that make my writing interesting to read?
